Cory Adeline we are so very grateful to have you as a member of our family. You have been such a blessing to us all!!! I cannot believe how fast this year went by!!! Seems like just yesterday we were holding you in the hospital...We will continue to treasure every moment and love every second snuggling and being with you...because before we know it you will be the mom posting these blogs about your children!!! Happy First Birthday Sunshine!!! We love you abundantly!!!

Up to Date

It has been way TOO long since I have posted on here but life has been BusY!!! Good busy though...We had a wonderful Thanksgiving and a great Christmas. We have been searching for a perfect house and think we may have found it. We are currently under contract with this house and a looing forward to the possibility of moving into the home in the next month or so.

In November I tried really hard to write down every day something I was grateful for...well I only made it 13 days...so here are some things that I was and still am grateful for:

1. Grateful for the right for my voice to be heard

2. Grateful for a good nights sleep...thank you ads for lettting mommy sleep all night (might I just add this was written in November and it is now January...I am pretty sure this might have been the last night she slept through the night :0)

3.Today grateful for the quiteness and snuggling that the rain brings...snuggling with our almost nine month old is one of the best things!!!

4. Grateful for Fridays because my husband has off and we get to spend family time together all day!!! Yeah!!!

5. Grateful for baby kisses from Ads....they are the BEST!!!

6. Grateful today for time changes...now it is light when I wake up

7. Grateful for the lesson in being frugal my husband has taught me over the years

8.Today grateful for the La Leche league and all the love and support they show to breastfeeding moms all over the world!!!

9. Today grateful for Peanut butter

10. Grateful for being a mommy....so in love with our little Cory Adeline

11.Grateful today for an amazing husband who works so hard for our family

12. Today grateful for great parents and in-laws who are always willing to help out in any situation!!! Love you all!!!

13. Grateful today for comfy pj's

So those are 13 things I am grateful for---hopefully next November I will write one down every day

December flew by and before I knew it the holidays were over. We had a wonderful first Christmas with little Addie. My whole family was here for Christmas and Timmy's whole family minus his sister and her family were all here. We had some great family time and really enjoyed watching Addie with all the magic of Christmas.

Fall Time is Here!!!

Fall time is finally here and we are so excited about it. Addie is now 8 months old...Time is flying by too fast. Everyone said to enjoy every minute because it goes by too fast but I didn't realize it would really go this fast!!! Addie is now sitting on her own, standing if she holds on to something, saying "ma ma" "da da" and Grandma Tamborini swears she heard her say "all done" when she was done eating the other morning. We are working on her crawling but for the time being I am enjoying having a stationary child that I can sit somewhere and be sure she can not get anywhere else.

Every Wednesday morning Addie and I go to an infant music class. It is a 30 minute class with infants age birth-18 months. There are 6 kids including Addie in the class. We sing, dance and play instruments. She is the youngest kid in the class and the only 0ne that can't crawl/walk so she does get frustrated sometimes when all the other kids are moving and she can't :(....But she LOVES being there with the other kids and laughs, smiles, dances and sings the whole class.

This fall has been very eventful for our family. As I said in our last post, we have moved in with Grandma and Grandpa Tamborini. We are enjoying geting to spend so much time with them!!! Uncle Shawn came home for a visit. He was here for about 3 days and we had a lot of fun seeing him. We also went to the Pumpkin Patch last weekend. We took a hayride there and had a lot of fun looking at and picking out our pumpkins. We have a lot more coming up this month with Addie's first Halloween. She is going to be a chicken :) We are going to take her trick or treating at Grandma and Grandpa Jeffreys and Grandma and Grandpa Tamborini's.

8 months old!!!

You never get too old to move back in with your parents :)

So....Timmy, Addie and I have moved in with the grandparents. About a month ago we decided our house was getting to be too far from Timmy's work and our neighborhood was getting a little too unsafe for our liking. It was getting to be really hard on us to be traveling over and hour every day to get to and from work so we started looking at houses closer to Wake Forest (which is where Timmy works). We found several that we like and one that we LOVE. It just needs some work. We needed to clear out our house to put it on the market so we moved in with Grandma and Grandpa Tamborini. We plan on putting an offer on the house that we love this week sometime and then it will take several months to get it up to par. We will take tons of before and after pics!!!

So our trip to Colorado was a blAsT!!! We had so much fun visiting with the boys and seeing the sights. Addie did great on her first vacation and plane ride. The flight attendant on Southwest gave her the "best baby ever" award!!! It was sad to leave Josh and Shawn but are so glad that they are so happy out there. Love to all!!!

4th of July and Children's Parade

These are pictures from the Children's Parade. Every year on Fourth of July, Wake Forest holds a Children's Parade. The town comes out to watch all the kiddies and their parents walk down Main Street. We sure did have fun!!!

First time seeing fireworks at Grandma and Grandpa Tamborini's. We lit some fireworks and sparklers for Addie to see. She seemed to enjoy it :)
